It looks like what should be in changelog.Debian.gz is ending up in changelog.gz

it looks like this is happening because our debian packaging makes this a "native package". On one hand, this makes sense, because we're managing our debian packaging ourselves (i.e. there is nobody on the debian developer team acting as our maintainer). On the other hand, this isn't really what I want, since foolscap is hardly debian-specific.

I'm surprised the Ubuntu update manager didn't look at changelog.gz when doing that update. The specs say that debian-native packages (basically any package with a version number that doesn't have a hyphen in it) put their debian change information in 'changelog.gz' . Maybe this is actually a bug in their update manager?
